What is Kiplot?
Kiplot enables large organisations to turn their strategy into reality.
When you're running hundreds of projects across siloed teams and ageing systems, strategy execution becomes guesswork. Kiplot is an enterprise SaaS platform that helps large organisations plan, prioritise, fund, and manage delivery—all in one place.
The Problem We Solve
Executives today are overwhelmed with spreadsheets, PowerPoints, and fragmented data. They feel like they’re flying blind. Kiplot gives them the visibility and control they need to steer their organisation toward its goals.
Why Kiplot Is Different
The project portfolio management (PPM) market is already worth $4B and growing fast. But most solutions are legacy tools, over 20 years old. Kiplot is part of a new generation of enterprise software: beautiful, interactive, easy to use, and endlessly configurable—without needing technical support or consultants.
Our customers love the outcomes. One UK bank increased their return on project investment by 24% after implementing Kiplot—worth over $120m annually.
Who We Are
Despite being a young, profitable company backed by experienced angel investors, we’re already relied on by some of the world’s best-known financial services firms (some under NDA). We’re now looking for an exceptional Product Manager to help us scale.
The Role
As Kiplot’s first dedicated Product hire, you will work directly with the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer. You'll play a central role in translating our product vision into features that deliver measurable value.
You’ll wear multiple hats—part Scrum Master, part Product Owner, and full-time user advocate. You'll work across all teams and spend time with enterprise customers to understand their needs and communicate our roadmap.
This is a hands-on role that balances strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. You’ll thrive if you're comfortable with complexity, obsessed with clarity, and motivated by impact.
What You’ll Do
Product Execution
- Work closely with engineering, customers, Customer Success and Sales to lead the design of complex features from the ground up
- Define features and write user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog in line with business goals
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Work closely with engineers to unblock issues and clarify requirements
- You’ll be the fulcrum around which new features develop, with strong support from the broader team
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Be the voice of the user—gather feedback and translate it into product decisions
- Communicate roadmap and release updates to customers
- Align with Customer Success and Sales to refine features and prioritise requests
- Help evolve our product processes as we scale
About You
- You’re a structured thinker who brings order to chaos
- You have strong instincts for good UX, even if you’re not a designer
- You’re comfortable balancing product strategy, tech debt, and stakeholder demands
- You enjoy working across teams and simplifying the complex
- You care about making meaningful progress every week
Requirements
Must haves:- 2+ years in product management, business analysis, or similar roles in Agile environments
- Experience writing user stories and managing a product backlog
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with engineers and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience facilitating sprint ceremonies
- Knowledge of tools like GitLab, Jira, or equivalent
- A genuine passion for technology—you don’t need to code, but you’re excited by how complex systems work and enjoy diving into the detail
- Experience working on SaaS platforms
- Experience in enterprise software or project portfolio management (e.g. Planview, Clarity, Jira Align)
- Familiarity with delivery workflows in large organisations
Company Culture & Benefits
We work hard to build an outcome-focused culture that values curiosity, autonomy, and balance. Our Shoreditch office offers breakfast, endless coffee and fruit, plus beer and pizza on Thursdays. It's also pet-friendly.
Perks:
- Early-stage equity/options
- 28 days holiday
- Private health insurance
- Pension scheme
- Screens and home setup as needed
- Monthly socials (e.g. escape rooms, pizza-making, company trips abroad)
Our Interview Process
- 30-minute intro call
- 90-minute skills & experience interview
- 30-minute final call with the founders
- Offer
Studies by several different sources have shown that, on average, men will apply for a job if they meet 60% of the application requirements. By contrast, women/non-binary people will seek to match a much higher percentage of the requirements before applying.
At Kiplot we embrace diversity and are committed to equal opportunities. We are actively recruiting a diverse and inclusive team so we encourage everyone to apply and give us a chance to evaluate your skills and experience.
