In summary

Planview and Planisware are highly configurable enterprise platforms. That flexibility is valuable when an organization already has a mature operating model it wants the software to reproduce. The starting point is typically the requirements: define how you want the system to work, then configure the platform around them.

Kiplot starts differently.
